I built this little Flathead about 20 years ago , give or take . I can't remember an exact date

As it turns out it has found its way into good hands . I'm proud to see that it's still pretty much the same as I did it , except for a new correct springer , and different bars , seat & exhaust . I guess one of the old timer Booze Fighters has it now and it's actually part of the club's annual celebration . It still looks good and I'm glad it's loved and in a good home . I was sent these recent photos by B/F Josh I think . Support your local !

It would appear that this nut didn't fall too far from it's tree . . .

I don't normally do endorsements , but this stuff is great

Coral , who is the wife of my good friend Jimmy , makes this line of home made skin care . I was at the Tiki Oasis all weekend in my sandals , and my feet were starting to look like paws . COral gave me a loofa embedded soap and a nice Pearish whipped sugar scrub . Well needless to say my feet feel like a babies butt and I smell delightful all over .

I suggest you go to her site over in the links part of my blog , Bloodbath Body Products and at least check it out . Stimulate the economy all little by buying something that is made in the USA by someone who cares about how good you smell .

We went camping last weekend with some of the extended family

Took the shasta and it was flawless . I need to put a battery in there some day for night time lights at campsites without docks , but till then we are camping it up 60's style . Except for the truck of course , which pulled the little Shasta with little to no effort . 4 wheel discs coming down the mountain was a nice treat !

We were at Cyuamaca at Paso Picacho and besides it being a little too warm , it was beautiful . Once night time fell , it cooled off a little and the drinks started flowing and the fire was going . . . can't wait till next time .

I helped clean this bike up with a friend

It's a 1964 CB77 Honda 305 . When we got it it was pretty rough but ran nice , it just needed to have the dust knocked off of it and have a few things replaced and added and tightened down here & there . It had a set of cocktail shakers on it , but they were super rusty and kind of thrashed so I put this set on there that I actually got from an estate sale that were NOS and never used . It took some trimming and massaging but eventually they were right at home . Got a few items off eBay like the rare Spring Fender front fender , a tail light here and a headlight ring there & a few drilled out home made brackets later & I think it really came together nice .

It was my friend Dave's birthday gift for his wife Mary and we had to keep it secret for like 3 months while he snuck over to work on it . Needless to say she was blown away when she got it . I'm pretty pleased with how well it turned out . Almost everything we got for it was NOS honda stuff , or lightly used original equipment , so the bike is pretty legit still . Under all the dust & surface rust ( which came off without too much trouble with a little tin foil and some never dull ) suddenly the chrome came to life and it started to actually look like something .

60's jap bikes are awesome , and this one turned out to be a really clean little example of what they used to run 'em like back in the day , very slight customizing here & there , but over all just a neat little bike .

If you know how to weld , or just tinker , this is scary and important to know

A long time ago I was welding some stuff in my Mercury . As it turned out the material I was welding was galvanized steel and I got sick as shit for a few days . It was pretty scary as I knew the dangers of welding galvanized metal but wasn't aware that was what I was doing till it was too late . I can sort of feel the pain here , and even as bad as it got me , it was nothing as bad as this .

This kind of stuff WILL kill you in the blink of an eye . . .

take note .

"Brother , if i have to explain , you wouldn't understand "

This is on my buddy Davey who is one of my best friends . His wife who is also a tattooer did this on him for his birthday . Fuckin jamming out in the wind style !
