Go out and buy this magazine
I'll go ahead and toot my own horn here for a second . This is an awesome little mag , and I am proud and flattered that I was asked to contribute to it . I think most of what I had to say is jibba jabba , but it was just random thoughts and memories from my childhood so it may or may not be worth reading . I assure you , the rest of the magazine is deffinately worth it . Do yourself , and Guy a favor and run out and pick this one up . You'll be glad you did .

Changed the bars and made some struts for the windscreen
Got it running , it took a few hours on saturday to take the carbs apart and rebuild them . I had to hand cut the float bowl gaskets because the ones on the bike disintegrated on the spot , as soon as we took t he bowls off . Anyhow , once it started up and I took it around the block a few times , I realized that the fairing needed struts to keep it from flapping around like a set of wings , and that the back tire would only hold air for about 20 minutes at a time . No biggie , I still need to get it registered and rebuild the front calipers before I can actually drive it .
Here's how the struts turned out .

So I just picked this up today . . .
1978 KZ-650 DHOC . Pretty sweet .
It has a small electrical problem in that it will turn over , battery has a charge , lights work . . . but it wont start . The front calipers need to be rebuilt , and both of them need to be put back on the bike . Otherwise I think a few hours in the garage will take care of that situation .
Toe Cutter & Bubba better look out .

Like father like son . . . this is the beginning of the end
Because I'm supposed to be an artist , I do " art" every once in a while . . .
