Skateboarding at the San Diego Museum of Man

What the hey . . . a new installation called Ramp It Up at the Museum of Man , donated by the Smithsonian . Who would have thought that something like this would ever happen . It's all about skateboarding and how local native American tribes have embraced it and gone so far as to build giant public skateparks on the res . I didn't get a chance to take any pictures of the actual installment because I was up at the ramp the whole time watching the skating . Yeah a 1/2 pipe set up inside the museum upstairs across from the Treasures of Egypt display . . . it was right next to the bar they set up for the opening. Hodads provided the food and overall it was pretty epic .
